Interest in precision working to position, set up and operate various lighting equipment to illuminate sets, studios and scenes, and to select and position equipment, manually or using a hoist

Interest in compiling information to follow cue sheets and scripts when signalling electrical crews to operate lights during filming and broadcasting

Interest in varying intensity of light using a wide range of techniques, and in repairing lighting equipment

Interest in precision working to manipulate brushes and other devices used for the care of skin, and to apply cosmetic and special effects make-up on actors and other performers

Interest in compiling information from period files to obtain images of characters to be depicted; and in requisitioning cosmetics and make-up materials

Interest in applying prostheses, cosmetics and make-up to change physical characteristics such as facial features, skin texture, body contours and dimensions, and in producing effects appropriate to characters and situations

Interest in supervising stage and set construction in production studio, on stage and on location; in planning construction schedules and distribution of work; and in ensuring a safe working environment

Interest in co-ordinating information to assess construction time requirements, estimate costs of building materials and to prepare construction drawings and instructions for assembling of sets

Interest in ensuring that equipment and tools are in proper working condition and in maintaining a hazard-free workplace
