Build critical leadership skills with these interactive, workshop-style courses designed for current or aspiring supervisors and managers. You need a minimum of 12 courses and 144 hours to complete this program. Some courses are recognized by the Canadian Construction Association (CCA) for the Gold Seal. The Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board recognizes this program for a Blue Seal designation.

Ideal for aspiring, new and current supervisors or managers, this program will improve your management acumen through practical, skill-oriented business courses. Available through interactive workshop-style classes as well as online courses, our industry-leading instructors will challenge and build your core business, leadership and management skills.

You will gain specific business skill sets through courses like Conflict Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Labour Relations, Performance Management and more. This program is relevant to all industries in both the public and private sectors - and with over 50 courses to choose from, you can tailor your studies to your specific needs and interests.

Convenient scheduling allows you to achieve certification within a year or less, or if you’d prefer, you have the option to work towards your certification over a longer period.

Admission Requirements

There are no entrance requirements for this program. You can begin registering for courses anytime by clicking a course name or calling 403-284-7248. Once you have registered for at least one course and have a SAIT student ID number, consider filling out and submitting the Program Declaration Form to the Office of the Registrar. Contact information for the Office of the Registrar is located in the upper corner of the form.
