Admission Requirements
Standard Admission Students must meet ONE of the following criteria: Alberta high school diploma, verified by transcript, or non-Alberta equivalent, for students 1. who are under 18 years of age OR 2. Successful completion of the General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.) with minimum 450 marks in Language and Mathematics. 3.Students must have a satisfactory interview with the school advisor. Mature Admission Students must meet the following criteria: 1. Must be 18 years or older. 2. Complete the Wonderlic SLE ( Scholastic Level Exam) with a score of 20 or more on the Wonderlic SLE ( Scholastic Level Exam) 3. Students must have a satisfactory interview with the school advisor. Proof of English Language Proficiency (applies to both Standard and Mature admission) Candidates who have not completed their high school in Canada are required to provide proof of English proficiency. Candidates may select any one of the below exams and must achieve a minimum score in each score in each skill category (reading, listening, writing, and speaking) to be eligible for admission to the diploma program : Candidates need to achieve a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 Exams - CLB Level 7, required scores: IELTS 7 Reading-6,Listening-6, Writing-6, Speaking-6 CELPIP-General Reading-7,Listening-7, Writing-7, Speaking-7 Pearson Reading-46,Listening-46, Writing-46, Speaking-46 CAEL Reading-50,Listening-50, Writing-50, Speaking-50 TOEFL IBT minimum overall score of 70 Duolingo minimum overall score of 105 International Student Admission International students, especially those who have completed their high school diploma from outside canada,must get their transcripts verified by either IQAS or WES to be eligible for admission to the program.
