Have you always enjoyed working with tools, engines, and hands-on mechanical problem-solving? Consider a career as a Motorcycle Mechanic, a designated trade in Alberta with strong demand and diverse career pathways. Motorcycle mechanics work with motorcycles and other multi-wheeled lightweight all-terrain vehicles equipped with astride seating and handlebar controls. This trade involves the inspection, maintenance, repair, assembly, and restoration of a wide range of motorcycle systems, including engines, transmissions, fuel systems, electrical and electronic systems, wheels, tires, suspensions, braking systems, and more. As a motorcycle mechanic apprentice, you'll gain practical shop experience and in-class technical training through Alberta's structured four-period apprenticeship program
