Welder-Wire Process Operators join components and sub-assemblies to make a variety of construction materials, using different welding processes and filler metals specific to the requirements of the finished product. This branch of the welding trade is restricted to gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux cored arc welding (FCAW), submerged arc welding (SAW), and other semi-automatic wire feed welding processes. Possible careers include production and manufacturing plants, mechanical services, and various construction capacities.
