Admission Requirements
All applicants must pass a successful interview with an admissions representative in addition to fulfilling the following criteria: All applicants whose native language is not English - a minimum CLB level 7 or higher in all strands; a Minimum CELPIP - General score of 7; a minimum Pearson Test of English (PTE) score of 53.5 for reading, 62.2 for writing, 48.1 in listening, and 46.2 in speaking with overall score of 51.6; CAEL a minimum score of 50 for reading, 50 for listening, 50 for writing and 45 for speaking with overall score of 50; " a minimum Duolingo score of 105-115; a minimum IELTS scores of: Reading - 6, Writing - 6 Listening - 6, Speaking - 6 or higher; a minimum TOEFL score of 547 or higher for PBT (paper-based test); 210 or higher for CBT (computer-based test); and a minimum of 13 in reading, 12 in listening, 21 in writing, 18 in speaking and a minimum of 60 overall score or higher for IBT (internet-based test) is required. Applicants with credentials from countries other than North America must also have an assessment done by Alberta Government International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS). Standard Admission High school graduation or equivalent (from an English medium institution); or Successful completion of the General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.) Mature Admission Students must meet ALL of the following criteria:  Be at least 18 years of age prior to admission (19 for out of province applicants)  Present standard test results such as Accuplacer with a minimum score of 230 or Wonderlic with a minimum score of 20.  Applicants from Manitoba must also have been out of school for one year in addition to the above.
