- Successful completion of the following business courses through NAIT Open Studies with an overall minimum GPA of 2.0:
- COMM 1101 (Communications I);
- ECON 1110 (Introduction to Microeconomics);
- MATH 1180 (Business Math)
- ACCT 1115 (Introductory Financial Accounting);
- ORGB 1135 (Organizational Behaviour)
OR
- Applicants who, prior to September 2022, have successfully completed the following business courses through NAIT Open Studies with an overall minimum GPA of 2.0, may use these courses to satisfy the current academic entrance requirements for Business Administration:
- COMM 1101 (Communications I);
- ECON 1110 (Microeconomics) or ECON 1112 (Macroeconomics);
- FNCE 1125 (Introduction to Finance);
- ACCT 1115 (Introductory Accounting I);
- MARK 1130 (Introduction to Marketing) or MGMT 1120 (Principles of Management) or ORGB 1135 (Organizational Behaviour)
OR
- Completion of minimum 24 post-secondary credits or 8 post-secondary courses* with an Admission GPA of 2.0. Please refer to information on how to calculate your AGPA.
*Please note that acceptance into the program does not guarantee transfer credits. Transfer credits evaluation will take place after you are accepted into the program.
Provisional admission - English language proficiency. Applicants who have not yet met the English Language Proficiency requirement may be eligible for provisional admission, allowing them to complete NAIT ESL Level 6 courses simultaneously in the first 12 months of starting their Business Administration diploma. To be considered for provisional admission, you must submit all required documents by the following deadlines:
- July 31 – Fall admission
- November 20 – Winter admission
- March 31 – Spring admission
