The Supervisory Development Specialization invites participants to explore and develop their leadership potential to help them be more successful in managing projects and supervising staff. You will learn management skills, human resources practices and communication techniques that are essential to job growth and success.
The program and course content were created based on input from entrepreneurs and industry experts. Industry input helped determine the outcomes of the program to ensure graduates of the program are able to
- communicate effectively using appropriate strategies
- implement a personal development plan specific to a supervisory role
- select and implement human resource practices in supervisory roles
- develop leadership capacity
The Business Fundamentals Certificate with a Supervisory Development Specialization qualifies you for Blue Seal Certification through Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT).
