Admission Requirements

The applicant should be employed in a health setting and have a minimum of 300 clinical hours in the previous twelve months to be eligible for credit for Work Experience 1. Upon receiving credit for Work Experience 1, the applicant is eligible to challenge Term 1 Theory & Lab and then Term 2 Theory. To be eligible for credit for Work Experience 2, the applicant must provide verification of clinical hours with a minimum of 40 hours in Geriatrics, 24 hours in Mental Health, and 16 hours in Community within the past twelve months. The clinical hours must be paid work hours and not volunteered. These clinical requirements will be assessed on an individual basis.
