Admission Requirements
Standard Admission: 18 years or older as of Course Commencement, proficient in both Written and Spoken English, and proof of Alberta High School Diploma or Out of Province Equivalent. International Students require International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) or World Education Services (WES) verification for International Transcripts. Mature Admission: Must be 21 years or older as of Course Commencement, and complete of Wonderlic Basic Skills Test with a minimum score of 270 on each section. English Language Proficiency Requirements: Applicants whose native language is not English will be required to submit proof of English proficiency. Acceptable Testing includes IELTS - Minimum Band Score 7. Admissions Interview: Admissions interview includes discussion of the following: 1. Prospective students reasons for interest in the Dental Administration Field 2. Current knowledge of the Dental Administration field, and the role of the Dental Administrator 3. Program workload and expectations 4. Confirmation that prospective student has sufficient time in their schedule to commit to their studies 5. Understanding curriculum requirements and grading criteria 6. Ensure students are comfortable working with technology (computer, email, software programs, etc.) 7. Address any challenges the prospective student or instructor forsee 8. Outline skills and attributes of the student, that they feel will be beneficial in the field
