Academic requirements
Language Arts – this requirement can be met with any of the following, or an equivalent course:
- 50% in English Language Arts 20-1
- 60% in English Language Arts 20-2
- 50% in ESLG 1860
- 65% in ESLG 1898
Mathematics – this requirement can be met with any of the following, or an equivalent course:
- 65% in Mathematics 10-C
- 65% in MATH 1791
English language proficiency requirements:
For applicants whose first language is not English, proof of English language proficiency (ELP) must be provided prior to admission. ELP must have been completed within 6 months prior to application to the program. Acceptable evidence of ELP may be one of the following test scores:
- CLBA: No section score below 7
- IELTS Academic: 6.0, no score below 5.5
- Duolingo 105
- TOEFLT iBT: 71
- CELPIP General 7: no section scored below 6
- CAEL: 60, no section score below 60
- NorQuest coursework: Minimum of 80% on ESLS 7000 or 7100, and 80% in ESLW 7000 or 7100; or minimum of 50% in ESLG 1860 and ESLG 1861
