This unique 12-week applied Data Analytics program provides hands-on learning experiences in data analytics practices and techniques that allow businesses to transform into data-driven organizations. Through this program, you will gain a strong foundation in analytics, predictive analytics tools, probability, and statistics.

The program is designed to empower mid-career professionals with domain expertise in their fields looking to upskill or open to a career change. It is for individuals with a growth mindset to acquire the necessary essential and business-oriented technical skills in data analytics, predictive analytics, and dimensional modelling that make things better, more efficient, and easier. 

Open pathways for your career in virtually every business realm — from healthcare to education to manufacturing. You will understand how to use business and predictive analytics to solve problems, leverage opportunities practically, and build solutions to make the decision-making process easier. You will use design thinking to critically think through problems and opportunities and work collaboratively with others to understand the problems that business analytics can solve. We’ll also support you in building your network in business and predictive analytics.  

Powered by the DX Talent Hub, this 12-week program will give you the technical skills needed to analyze, organize and enhance data to identify patterns, missed opportunities, insights, and behaviour.

Delivered in partnership with InceptionU and Bow River Solutions, you will learn:

1. Technical skills:

  • SQL, database, coding
  • Dimensional Modeling
  • SSIS, SSAS, Visual Studio
  • CRISP Methodology
  • Applied Data Science (mining, analytics, manipulation, etc.)

2. Essential skills:

  • Critical thinking
  • Computational thinking
  • Problem setting and solving
  • Executive functioning and cognitive skills
  • Data storytelling and communication

3. Business skills

  • Business Cases Analysis
  • Strategic thinking
  • Working on projects in an agile way
  • Collaboration, networking, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to define and execute a data and predictive analysis project that supports business priorities.
