Energy Process Operator

www.nait.caThe Energy Process Operator program is designed to train individuals for careers in energy process and production operations. The program provides a thorough overview of the energy industry and the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge relating to gas processing, instrumentation, measurement, production equipment, and refining. Expand your knowledge relevant to the upstream oil and gas industry and gain confidence with industry terminology and processes. On Completion of all 3 Levels of this Program, students walk away with:
- An understanding of the upstream energy industry, exploration, drilling, downhole operations, pipelines, production, and processing
- Practical skills in operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment
- Energy process operator topics such as monitoring physical and chemical processes for processing units, troubleshooting, equipment adjustments of valves, pumps, and controls, and safety and maintenance processes
The final level includes a lab-based simulation experience to facilitate practical learning and knowledge assimilation. A certificate will be awarded upon completion.
