- CAEL paper / online Score of at least 70
- Duolingo At least 120 for English Language Proficiency, with no sub-score below 100
- CAE At least 180, with no less than 170 in each skill
- PTE Academic At least 61, with no less than 60 in each communicative skill
- NorQuest English courses ESLG 1860 & ESLG 1861 (Successful completion)
- University of Alberta courses EAP 136 and EAP 137 (Successful completion)
