NAIT's Food Safety program will help students gain a competitive edge in the food services industry by combining culinary and restaurant skills with certification in food preparation and workplace safety. Students will be able to apply the tools gained in this course to keep their work area clean, sanitized and safe for others.

Admission Requirements

To participate in Food Safety, the following is required:

  • An adequate level of English language proficiency (proof of English proficiency is not required upon registration, however, if English is not your first language and you have questions prior to registration, please contact our office)
  • Practical experience with computers
  • Access to a computer
  • Reliable Internet connection with compatible browser – Google Chrome is recommended
  • Printer (not required but highly recommended)
