Graduate Certificate Health Services Management

University of Lethbridge

University of Lethbridge

www.uleth.ca/future-student
The Graduate Certificate in Health Services Management (GCHSM; 15 credit hours) will be jointly offered by the Dhillon School of Business and the Faculty of Health Sciences. Like the Master of Health Services Management (MHSM), this certificate is primarily designed for individuals with an undergraduate degree in health care, who are working full-time and would like to move into (or have recently been promoted into) a managerial role. In the GCHSM, students take a reduced load, which lowers their annual costs and may suit their time constraints more effectively. The GCHSM will be available for students who wish to increase their knowledge level but may be unable to, or are cautious about, committing to a full Master's degree. A student who successfully completes the GCHSM will receive course credit towards the MHSM, making it easy to seamlessly ladder from the Graduate Certificate to the Master's degree option. A Graduate Certificate in Health Services Management with the option to ladder into a master's program is not currently offered anywhere in Canada.
