The Graphic Design diploma provides an exit option for students in the Bachelor of Design program who choose to graduate with a diploma following completion of the first two years of study of the four-year degree program. Students learn the design process, foundational methods to research problems and generate concepts, principles of visual organization and composition, cultural and historical context for the work they create, skills to give form to a concept, and tools of the trade to execute a solution. The curriculum blends theory and practice - thinking and doing - to prepare designers with technical knowledge and a creative touch.
