Admission Requirements
Standard Admission: Students must meet the following criteria: Alberta high school diploma, verified by transcript, or non-Alberta Canadian equivalent, verified by transcript, or successful completion of the General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or the Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC). International students must get their transcripts verified by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) or World Education Services (WES) to be eligible for admission to the program. Students must have a satisfactory interview with the school advisor. Mature Admission: Students must meet the following criteria: Must be 18 years or older. Must complete a Canadian Achievement Survey Test for Adults (CAST) with a minimum score of 70%, or Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam (SLE) with a score of 20 or more. Students must have a satisfactory interview with the school advisor. Proof of English language proficiency - applies to both standard and mature admissions: Students who have not completed their high school in Canada are required to provide proof of English proficiency by completing TOEFL iBT. A minimum overall score of 64 is required. Students must achieve a minimum score in each skill category (reading 13, listening 12, writing 21, and speaking 18) to demonstrate the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7.
