Admission Requirements
Admissions Requirements: - Meet with an Admissions Advisor - Meet Standard or Mature Admission - Meet the College's English Language Proficiency Requirements Standard Admission: Meet one of the following criteria: - Alberta high school diploma, Non-Alberta Canadian high school diploma or equivalent, verified by Official Transcript. - General Educational Development (GED)/ Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) - International Students -Transcripts for international students can be verified through the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) or World Education Services (WES). Proof of Health Insurance Coverage and Appropriate student authorization or a study permit from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Mature Admission: Must meet all the following criteria: - Mature students should be at least 18 years of age - Complete the Canadian Achievement Survey Test for Adults (CAST) - Level 3 o With a minimum CAST acceptable score range (615-650) English Language Proficiency (ELP) Requirements: If English is not a student's first language, they must demonstrate sufficient English proficiency, whether applying through standard or mature admission. Students must establish a CLB level 7 to demonstrate sufficient ELP. Please find below the acceptable English language assessment exams and their minimum overall scores to demonstrate the CLB level required: - IELTS:6 - CELPIP-General:7 - CAEL:50 - Duolingo:105-115 - Pearson Academic (PTE-A):51.6 -TOEFL IBT:60
