The Health and Life Sciences Fundamentals certificate combines 5 relevant health courses that will help prepare students for the demands and rigours of a career in health and life sciences. Learn about the major components of the human body, up-to-date medical terminology, how to communicate effectively with patients, and practice life-saving skills. These courses help students prepare for their career in the healthcare or dentalcare industries and serve to satisfy many of the prerequisite requirements for applying to NAIT School of Health & Life Sciences full-time programs.

Admission Requirements

This certificate explores the major elements of the human body. Students will also learn how to communicate effectively with patients and be given the opportunity to practice life-saving First Aid and CPR skills. Biology 30 is recommended.
