They need to understand what information systems can and cannot do and be able to use them to help accomplish organizational goals.
Designed in consultation with IT experts, business managers, and industry leaders, the Information Technology Management Certificate builds on the skills needed to integrate information technology into business and business into information technology. Strategic planning, managing IT resources, analyzing business information systems, and management principles are all a key part of this highly effective certificate program.

Program Closed for New Applicants
As of December 2018, this program is no longer accepting new applicants and its four core courses are not being offered.
Students currently enrolled in the Information Technology Management program who only need to complete electives will be allowed to finish to receive their certificate. These electives will still be offered through the Faculty of Extension, and are open to all.
Students currently enrolled in the program who still need to complete a core course are encouraged to contact the program office to make alternative arrangements.
