Admission Requirements
Per Transport Canada. Student Admissions Requirements: Students wishing to enroll in any or all of the below programs are required to meet specific admission requirements:  Commercial Pilot License  Multi Engine Rating  Group 1 IFR Rating  Flight Instructor Rating Standard Admissions:  Canadian high school diploma or GED; or  Foreign high school diploma verified through International Qualifications Assessment Service; and  Transport Canada required prerequisites for your intended program Mature Admissions:  Must be at least 18 years of age; and  Transport Canada required prerequisites for your intended program; and  Demonstration of academic achievement: o Completion of Canadian Adult Achievement Test with a minimum score of 75%, (Level D equivalency), with a Grade 11 equivalency in Reading, Language and Math, OR o Alberta high school transcript with a minimum of Grade 11, with a Grade 11 equivalency in Reading, Language and Math. Interviews: All applicants must complete an interview to determine their suitability for the program(s) applied for, regardless of the path. English Language Proficiency Admission Requirement: Students must meet the English language requirements through ONE of the following:  Successful completion of Grade 12 English in a Canadian high school, as evidenced by student transcripts; OR  Demonstrating a Canadian Language Benchmark with the minimum required score on one of the following assessments: o TOEFL- minimum score of 53 o IELTS- minimum score of 5 o CELPIP - minimum score of 7 Any student who did not complete high school in Canada is required by Transport Canada to pass an Aviation Language Proficiency Demonstration. Students who do not currently hold a valid Proficiency rating can complete this assessment once enrolled.

Student Aid

This program is eligible for full-time post-secondary assistance by Alberta Student Aid for the funding year 2024/08/01 to 2025/07/31*.
