In this program, students will receive hands-on training to assess, resuscitate, stabilize, and transport trauma patients. Working in consultation with industry experts, these courses are designed specifically for Emergency Healthcare providers who are first to respond to trauma patients. Students will learn the lifesaving steps involved in rapid trauma patient assessment and management, and basic airway management.

Admission Requirements

Before students register in the Basic Instructor (ITLS150) or Advanced Instructor (ITLS250) courses, students need to get approval from the Trauma Education Association of Alberta (ITLS Alberta).
