The Leadership and Project Management for IT Professional Development Certificate Program at NAIT helps students better understand team dynamics and its impact on projects. Students will be introduced to project management tools and leadership techniques that will assist their personal and professional development in order to bring continuous improvement to their projects and organization.

This program aligns with the methodologies and practices described in the latest version of “A guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge” (PMBoK®) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Admission Requirements

Successful completion of one of the following:

  • 1-year post-secondary certificate (achieved inside Canada only)
  • 2-year post-secondary diploma
  • 4-year post-secondary degree

When applying, applicants will need to scan clear copies of:

  • official transcripts and certificate/diploma/degree from post-secondary education.
    • If documents are in a language other than English, they must be officially translated. View this list of certified translators in Canada. 

OR

  • An official WES or IQAS credential assessment showing successful completion of a Diploma or Degree.
