In course-based programs, students will complete a broader selection of courses and engage with a culminating activity that demonstrates the M.A. candidate's ability to participate in scholarly or professional discourse in their subject area at an appropriately advanced level. They may also participate in work-integrated learning. The course-based M.A. (Economics) includes core theory and research methods courses, elective courses in the discipline, a career development course, and a capstone research course.
