The growing importance of the need for engineers to be environmentally conscious in their work is the driving force behind CEERE's mandate. With ever-growing concerns of climate change and the impact of technology on the environment, the Schulich School of Engineering has an obligation to foster and advance the field of environmental engineering. SSE foresees a future where the environment and its care are at the forefront of technological advancement and is poising itself to producing engineers who will help shape this future.
