Master of Science Remote Sensing

University of Lethbridge

University of Lethbridge

www.uleth.ca/future-student
The M.Sc. Remote Sensing enables students to develop advanced research skills in remote sensing. The students will complete two to six three-credit courses or equivalent (depending on research experience) and requirements to gain the skills to complete independent research and conduct and defend a research thesis or a scientific paper. The program focuses on developing scientific research skills required in the rising scientific, academic, and industrial market for students with advanced training in remote sensing. Crucial learning outcomes of this program are research skills, scientific literacy, and the ability to conduct original independent scientific research. This major fills a gap between undergraduate and doctoral programming at the University of Lethbridge. It builds on the Major in Remote Sensing in the B.Sc. and has a direct path to the concentration in Remote Sensing in the Ph.D. in Earth, Space, and Physical Science.
