Admission Requirements
It is a condition of registration that students enrolled in a private vocational program are required to meet or exceed the admission requirements before they begin the program. Minimum education requirements are the following: 1. Grade 12 (General level or better) or its equivalent. 2. At least 18 years of age 3. In good general health or condition. English Proficiency. All students must pass at least one of the following English Language Assessment: 1. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) under Academic Part with a total benchmark of 6.0. 2. Canadian Language Benchmark Assessment (CLBA) level score of 8.0. 3. Canadian English Language Benchmark for Nurses (CELBAN) score of 8.0. 4. Must be good in oral and written English skills. Interview Process. Admission interview to determine suitability for the program: 1. Person to person interview is preferred. 2. Phone interview only if student residing outside Alberta Note: The minimum passing mark is 60% to be accepted in the program. If marks fall between 50 - 59%, students will be classified as Waiting List. If marks fall below 50%, students will be classified as Not Qualified. Additional Admission Requirements 1. Student must pass a qualifying test that has been approved by the School Administrator or Admission/Academic Directors. 2. Meet other academic qualifications or minimum age requirements established as a condition of the School Administrator's approval of the program. 3. Current police or criminal check record (not a receipt) and not more than 6 months. 4. Keyboarding skills (minimum of 40 wpm). 5. Medical certificate (free of communicable disease). 6. Up to date immunization status (TB and Hepatitis B in particular).

Student Aid

This program is eligible for full-time post-secondary assistance by Alberta Student Aid for the funding year 2023/08/01 to 2024/07/31*.
