The 1-year Personal Trainer program combines practical training, theory courses, and work experience to provide graduates with foundational knowledge in health sciences, personal training principles, injury prevention, and communication skills related to exercise and personal training. Emphasizing hands-on learning, students gain ample real-world experience designing customized workout programs to foster confidence and proficiency in meeting diverse client needs and goals.

Admission Requirements

Standard Admission: Students must meet the following criteria:

1. Must be minimum 17 years of age
2. Successful interview with school administration
3. Alberta high school diploma/non-Alberta equivalent

Mature Admission: Students must meet the following criteria:
1. Must be minimum 18 years of age.
2. Successful interview with school administration
3. Successful completion of a Wonderlic Exam equal to grade 12 or above OR Successful completion of a post-secondary program in Canada
