Admission Requirements
Students applying for admission into APS College must meet the following requirements: 1. Grade 12 high school diploma in a college or university track (advanced level studies) from a Canadian high school. A copy of the high school transcript is required in addition to the diploma. 2. Mature student status: The potential student must be 18 years of age or older. Successful completion of APS College Admission test using the Wonderlic Scholastic Level exam with a minimum score of 15. Clean criminal record. 3. Foreign applicant: All foreign credentials must be translated into English and equivalent to grade 12 levels in Canada. Potential students seeking admission into APS College must pass a Wonderlic Basic Skills Test. The passing score must be equivalent to grade 12 level. - Wonderlic Basic Skills Test will test: - English Assessment - Math Assessment And test student's ability to read and comprehend textbooks and other material as part of the program, Understand and participate in the classroom (lecture, class presentation, discussion, etc.) Write class assignments and tests, and Understand and participate effectively at practicum sites. Meet additional admission requirements: Program applicants require a formal interview. Police background check for Practicum placement, as needed. Updated vaccinations for Practicum placement as needed. Medical certificate for Practicum placement as needed. For the international students: Canadian Language Benchmark: CLB level 5 Reading 5 Writing 5 Listening 5 Speaking 5 OR IELTS score of 5.0 to be eligible for the admission at APS College (only if the medium of instruction is not English in their Country).
