This series is for you if you are a learn­er work­ing with­in the plan­ning indus­try. It will pro­vide you with exper­tise in plan­ning com­mu­ni­ties in the areas of urban, rur­al, region­al, and win­ter environments. If you are a reg­is­tered pro­fes­sion­al plan­ner with the Alber­ta Pro­fes­sion­al Plan­ners Insti­tute (APPI), you may use these cours­es as part of the required Con­tin­u­ous Pro­fes­sion­al Learn­ing (CPL) units for your mem­ber­ship maintenance.

Led by indus­try experts, the cours­es encour­age learn­ers to col­lab­o­rate with oth­er plan­ning pro­fes­sion­als who bring their pri­or expe­ri­ence for dynam­ic dis­cus­sions and prac­ti­cal hands-on activities.
