Admission Requirements
All prospective students must complete an interview before enrollment. Standard Admissions:  An Alberta high school diploma (verified by transcript), or  A non-Alberta, Canadian equivalent high school diploma (verified by transcript), or  A General Educational Development (GED)/Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC), or  International students must provide an equivalent high school diploma, [transcript must be verified through the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) or World Education Services (WES)], and  Successful completion of English 10-2 and Math 10-3. Mature Admissions:  Must be at least 18 years old, and  Must successfully complete AIT Pre-Employment Trades Entrance Exam with a minimum score of 65%or higher in multiple choice and 50% or higher in reading comprehension to demonstrate competency. English Language Requirements:  All students must meet a minimum CLB level 7 in English.  Acceptable English language assessment tests and minimum passing scores are: Pearson with a minimum score of 51.6 Duolingo with minimum scores of 105-115

This program is eligible for full-time post-secondary assistance by Alberta Student Aid for the funding year 2024/08/01 to 2025/07/31*.
