Pre-Employment Plumber provides an alternative entry into Apprenticeship. Students will receive four weeks of academic upgrading and employability skills followed by the first period of technical training (eight weeks) in the Plumber trade.

Admission Requirements

As per AIT’s trade entrance requirements, admission requirements are:

  • English 20-2, Math 20-3, AND Science 10

OR

  • A pass mark in all five Canadian General Educational Development (GED) tests

OR

  • A pass mark on the AIT Entrance Exam

Student Aid

This program is eligible for full-time post-secondary assistance by Alberta Student Aid for the funding year 2022/08/01 to 2023/07/31*.

  • Mandatory Fees $440.00 Year One
  • Books/Supplies/Instruments $300.00 Year One
