Admission Requirements
STANDARD ADMISSION PREREQUISITES  Alberta High School Diploma, verified by transcript  Or a secondary school graduation diploma from another Canadian province or territory  Or successful completion of the General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.)  Or a transcript, diploma or certificate from another country, assessed at an Alberta-recognized assessment service  And a satisfactory interview with the school advisor. MATURE ADMISSION  Minimum age of 25  Satisfactory result on an equivalency test. The candidate should obtain a 60% on the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test administered by the College.  Successful interview with the Program Manager/ Admissions Officer. INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS' ADMISSION In addition to the standard admission requirements, international applicants are required to fulfil the following requirements: transcript verification and proof of English language proficiency. Transcript Verification Transcripts from home country with results equivalent to standard admission requirements. The transcripts are verified via the standard verification process specific to each country. If the country has no transcript verification process, then the candidate would be required to send their transcript to any of the Canadian transcript verification agencies (IQAS, WES). · Proof of English Language Proficiency Candidates who have not undergone at least three years of high school or post-secondary school instruction in English (as verified by transcript) are required to provide proof of English proficiency. The following are acceptable standardized tests and required benchmarks for meeting the English Language Proficiency requirements. Test Required Score: Required Benchmark - Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) - 7 Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - 77 International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - 6 (min across all sections)
