In this step identify factors to help you compare your career options. You can use these factors to help you decide which occupations are most attractive to you.

The factors you choose can include interests, abilities, work values, skills, traits, and preferred working conditions that may be important to you. When your career option aligns with what is important to you, you are more likely to feel satisfied in your career.

How do you know what to compare?

The factors that are auto populated below are based on the exercises and quizzes you completed in the Know Yourself section.

If there are other factors that are important to you add them in “Other Factors” section on the chart. (Example: work-life balance, no shift work etc…).

You will need to complete the exercises and quizzes in Know Yourself before you can compare factors.
