The Bachelor of Applied Business Administration degree gives you the advanced accounting and management skills required for success in the field of accounting. This program includes ten academic courses and two semesters of directed field studies, which involves paid work experience in an approved accounting role. It involves advanced studies in accounting theory, auditing, taxation, and e-business with options to further pursue more in-depth coursework. To enter this program, students must have completed previous studies in accounting - see the admissions requirements for more information. Once you graduate, you may also pursue professional accounting credentials through the Chartered Professional Accountant Professional Education Program (CPA PEP). Admission Requirements
  • Applicants must have completed a two-year Business Administration or Accounting diploma or equivalent at an accredited post-secondary institution, with a minimum 2.3 grade-point average, (67% or C+). This diploma must include a minimum of 20 courses, or 60 credits, and contain the following coursework: Intermediate Accounting, Business Communications, Financial Management, Management Accounting, Systems and Marketing.
  • All applicants must demonstrate English Language Proficiency prior to admission, including students educated in Canada.
