St. Mary's also offers university transfer courses in business, management and the sciences. A sense of community is a defining characteristic of the University. Students have the opportunity to participate in campus ministry, campus recreation, wellness programs, social justice initiatives and athletics programs. The campus is located adjacent to Fish Creek Provincial Park in south Calgary and is easily accessed by public transportation. Campus tours can be arranged at any time of the year through the Enrolment Services Office.!span>

To be considered for admission, applicants must present the following requirements: -Completion of a St. Mary?s University College Bachelor of Arts degree, or an equivalent 3- or 4-year baccalaureate degree from a recognized university or college with and equally strong liberal arts component. -An admission GPA of at least 2.7 (on St. Mary?s 4-point scale) or equivalent on the most recently attempted 60 credits. -Resume. -Essay (essay questions could be found in STMU?s Calendar). -Three references using the Confidential Reference on Applicant form. -Interviews. -Criminal Record Check. -For individuals whose first language is not English, the evidence accepted by the University College is the internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The minimum standard scores required in the four categories are 27 in Speaking, 25 in Writing, 23 in Listening, and 23 in Reading.
This program is eligible for full-time post-secondary assistance by Student Aid Alberta for the funding year 2017/08/01 to 2018/07/31*.
