Admission Requirements
Standard Admission Students must meet ONE of the following criteria: 1. Canadian high school diploma, verified by transcript, or non-Alberta equivalent, for students who are under 18 years of age OR 2. Successful completion of the General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.) with minimum 450 marks in LA and Math Students must have a satisfactory interview with the school advisor. Mature Admission Students must meet the following criteria: 1. Must be 18 years or older. 2. Complete Academic Achievement Test: Wonderlic SLE- Score of 21. Students must have a satisfactory interview with the school advisor. Proof of English Language Proficiency (applies to both Standard and Mature admission) Candidates who have not completed their high school in Canada are required to provide proof of English proficiency. Candidates need to achieve Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 for admission to the diploma program. Candidates may select any one of the below exams and must achieve a minimum score in each skill category (reading, listening, writing, and speaking) to be eligible for admission to the diploma program. Exam: IELTS - 6 in all strands; CELPIP - 7 in all strands; TOEFL - minimum overall score of 77. Alternatively, a post-secondary certificate or diploma from a Canadian based PSI. International Student Admission International students, especially those who have completed their high school diploma from outside Canada, must get their transcripts verified by either IQAS or WES to be eligible for admission to the diploma program. Additional Requirements: -Application for Police Information Check will be submitted prior to start of program. -Attend orientation prior to start of program -Successful interview with school administration is required.
