NorQuest College

NorQuest College

www.norquest.ca
This program is designed for diploma graduates and working professionals in community, educational, and health settings who would like to build competencies and knowledge specific to working with people with autism. In addition, the four-domain framework (Physical, Spiritual, Emotional and Intellectual) will be incorporated into this program which will allow learners to explore autism holistically. Graduates from this program will be uniquely positioned to support people with autism across the lifespan. In this program, learners will be able to build upon the existing knowledge and experience through a series of online classroom, and experiential learning opportunities. In the course Reimagining Regulation as a Professional, learners will participate in a capstone project which they can apply their skills and knowledge into practices. NorQuest will also offer an optional 150-hour field experience course for learners who are not currently working on this area or would like to gain more hands-on experience in the workplace.
