Admission Requirements
For all Admissions, Eligible Students must meet one of the following criteria:  Standard First AID  Record of Immunization  Alberta high school diploma, verified transcript, or any non-Alberta equivalent.  or Successful completion of General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.)  Specific high school courses required for the program entry must be identified. o 75% or higher in English Language Arts 30-1 or o 70% or higher in English Language Arts 30-2 All applicants will be interviewed with respect to suitability to the program as well as being assessed according to aptitude testing. English Proficiency Requirements:  CLBA: No Section below 7  IELTS Academic 6; no score below 5.5  TOEFL iBT: 71  CELPIP General: 7; no section score below 6  CAEL: 60  Wonderlic: 18 ESL  ESLS7000 & ESLS7100 Minimum 80% in Listening & Speaking  ESLW7000 & ESLW7100 Minimum 80% in Writing Other Requirements  Criminal Record Check must be clear  Child Abuse Registry Check must be clear  A Vulnerable Sector Search must be clear  A CPR Level C with AED Training Nice to have  Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training is recommended but not required  Experience or exposure in this field is recommended but not required

Student Aid

This program is eligible for full-time post-secondary assistance by Alberta Student Aid for the funding year 2020/08/01 to 2021/07/31*.
