Admission Requirements
ADMISSIONS PREREQUISITES All Applicants must: ? Successfully pass the College Admissions Test and meet with an Admissions Representative; ? Provide a negative criminal record check with vulnerable sector search; ? Provide completed immunization report showing current immunization and free of communicable diseases, including Negative TB skin test or chest x ray. Additionally, students must meet either standard or mature admission criteria: Standard Admission Students must meet ALL of the following criteria: ? Grade 12 diploma or equivalent (official transcript required) Mature Admission Students must meet ALL of the following criteria: ? Out of school for one year; ? Be at least 18 years of age prior to admission (19 for out of province); Thirty-three credits towards an Alberta high school diploma, verified by official transcript, with 50% or better in Grade 10 English and in Grade 10 Mathematics, or non-Alberta equivalent English language proficiency requirement can be satisfied if the applicant has earned a high school diploma from secondary school (or above) in a system in which English is the official language of instruction. If English was not the applicant's first language, the applicant will need to meet the minimum English Language Proficiency standard. English test scores are valid only if dated within two years of application. Acceptable evidence of ELP may be one of the following:  CLBA 7 in each strand  TOEFL Internet-based test score 71 (overall score) PBT: 560  IELTS Academic 6.0, with no band score below 5.0  CAEL score of 60"
