Admission Requirements
Per Apprenticeship & Industry Training requirements. Plus Contact an Admissions Advisor to set up an information session and tour one of the campuses, either in person or through Skype. 1. High School Transcript. Students should have a Grade 12 diploma with a minimum of Grade 11 English, Math and Science. 2. Career Investigation. Presented in any creative manner. This may include slideshows, essays, videos or story bards, and include the following: a. Research about wages, job availability, career paths, and career advancements in the Hairstyling industry. b. Personal reasons for choosing a career in the Hairstyling industry. c. Long-term goals. 3. For students who attended high school outside of Canada, completion of the school entrance exam with a passing mark of 65% may be substituted for a high transcript. Mature Admission: 1. In place of their High School diploma, mature students who are 19 years of age or older may complete a GED (General Equivalency Diploma). 2. Must be 17 years of age or older All entrance requirements must be received by the college at least three weeks prior to the chosen start date.
