The program provides the structure to build basic skills aimed at Indigenous Albertans to access higher education opportunities through enhanced literacy, numeracy, essential life skills and employability skills development. The program is aimed at serving the needs of individuals in indigenous communities who do not possess high school level education.

Admission Requirements

Placement will be determined by an ACCUPLACER assessment. Please call Admissions at 866-652-3456 to book your test. You may also contact the nearest campus or Admissions, to schedule an appointment for a personal interview. Attend personal interview for educational planning with Campus Instructor, counsellor or program advisor.


Application Deadline

Students applying for August 2022 should submit their application by July 1st (2022). Late applications may be considered pending available seats in the program. Students meet with the Campus Instructor, Counsellor or program advisor to complete an Integrated Foundational Pathway Stepping Forward Enrollment Form (IFPSF Enrollment Form).
