Management Development for Police Services

www.ualberta.caDesigned in partnership with the Edmonton Police Service (EPS), the University of Alberta Management Development Certificate for Police Services provides comprehensive and relevant management development education to participants currently involved in the field of law enforcement.
Meeting the emerging needs of Law Enforcement, the program provides a comprehensive management development education with a variety of electives to allow participants to focus on areas of interest or need. Courses within this program cover leadership fundamentals, human resource management, financial management, strategic decision-making, and business communication. Our graduates are well equipped for leadership positions and can be relied upon for strong decision-making and leadership skills within the police service.
Open to individuals currently employed within police jurisdictions as well as to those who intend to move into the police force, this program is designed for mid-level management professionals and for those aspiring to move into management, supervisory, and leadership positions.
