Trades employers are reluctant to hire employees with no experience, but you can enhance your chances in one of our pre-employment trades training programs. Designed for those who are not yet employed or apprenticed within the trades, these training programs provide the first year of the Alberta apprenticeship curriculum as well as various safety certificates. Successful completion of pre-employment training prepares you to write the first-year apprenticeship exam.
