IoT is the network of everyday objects, ranging from industrial machines to wearable devices, equipped with sensors to collect and share data both with one another and with cloud-based systems. Graduates of this one-year, full-time certificate program will develop foundational knowledge in the application of IoT including system implementation, change management, integrating sensors and gathering data securely to improve business operations. Whether you are an industry employer seeking to upskill your staff or a working professional interested in IoT, this specialized program combines both in-class and on-the-job learning, and allows professionals to earn a credential while continuing to work.

Admission Requirements
  • An accredited or recognized diploma or degree with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or proof of completion of a skilled trades program, or journeyperson designation.
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency.
  • Proof of paid employment from a recognized employer, along with the completed proof of employment form executed by the employer and applicant.

Applicants who do not have a two-year diploma may be eligible for admission if 60 post-secondary credits in an accredited program have been completed.

Employment Requirements:

  • Proof of paid employment with a recognized employer who agrees to oversee workplace learning
