Northwestern Polytechnic's Department of Science offers an extensive range of science courses which are transferable to all Alberta and other universities. These courses are offered through disciplines that provide over 100 program options in areas such as agriculture, computing science, engineering, pharmacy, pre-medicine and pre-veterinary science. Because of our dedicated instructors and small class sizes, students who begin their studies at our institution are highly successful once they transfer to universities in Alberta and across North America. Majors and minors may be selected from more than 100 program options. Admission Requirements
Standard admission with English 30-1, Pure Math 30, and two other 30-level Sciences (as appropriate to the chosen program), and one other Humanities, Fine Arts or Science. If you are 21 years of age or older requires an overall average of 60% on the following three courses or equivalents, Pure Math 30, two of Biology 30, Chemistry 30, Math 31, Physics 30.

Student Aid

This program is eligible for full-time post-secondary assistance by Alberta Student Aid for the funding year 2022/08/01 to 2023/07/31*.

  • Mandatory Fees $1,525.00 Year One
