You can fund your education with a combination of strategies. With a bit of planning, you will likely be able to pay for post-secondary using some of the many financial resources out there.
There are many resources specifically for Indigenous students:
- If you’re a First Nations student, you may be eligible for federal funding administered through your First Nation or First Nation-designated organization.
- If you’re a First Nations, Indian, or Métis student, check out the financial support programs available through Indigenous Services Canada.
- If you’re a Métis student, check out the post-secondary education funding available through the Rupertsland Institute: Métis Centre of Excellence.
- Check out the Kapawe'no First Nation School Authority's post-secondary funding for college preparation, certificate, diploma, and degree programs.
