Question
Look for Work

“How can I find out about the job outlook where I live?”

Answer

Start with the occupational profiles on OCCinfo. Most profiles include an employment outlook drawn from the latest Alberta Wage and Salary Survey, which is conducted every two years.

On OCCinfo, you can search the job outlook for specific occupations. You can sort by Outlook for an alphabetical list of occupations. Or you can select Employment Outlook from the category menu and filter for jobs that have an “above average,” “average,” or “below average” employment outlook.
