Tell us a bit about yourself
My name is Jaden and I have just graduated from John G. Diefenbaker. I am currently 18 years old and I absolutely adore music and video games. Music has been a big factor of my life due to me being involved in multiple different school bands in my life time. I have been playing the flute for 8 years within these school bands including 1 year of piccolo. I have been playing video games my whole life with my favorite game being TF2, also known as Team Fortress Two.
Why did you apply to the JFR program?
I was recommended by my brother to join the JFR program due to him being a past member of the program and I thought this will be a great opportunity to improve my overall character along with being a new learning experience and allowing me to meet new people within the program.
What are you most excited about for the upcoming summer?
I am excited for just about everything this summer but I believe that canoeing and helicopter rides with my crew will be some of the most awesome and exciting experiences this summer.
What is your dream job?
My dream job is to become an indie game developer because it will allow me to continue my passion for gaming and indie game development incorporates both creativity and critical thinking which I like.
How would you describe your JFR leaders with a pop culture/musical reference?
If I had to describe my JFR leaders using only pop culture references, I will say that my leader, Kelvin, is Woody from Toy Story While my sub leader, Patrick, is Buzz Lightyear which is also from Toy Story.
